| Que Pasa began as a small streetfront deli specializing in freshly prepared salsas, and home style tortilla chips that were made fresh each day. As demand for their products grew, local supermarket chains asked to carry the chips and salsas in their gourmet deli departments. From there demand grew by reputation alone, and the sales volumes required a move to a larger facility in 1990. The present plant includes equipment for cooking and stonegrinding the corn, as well as a larger and more efficient kitchen space for the salsas and prepared foods. |
