| To make poly bags, it first begins with the poly resin. The resin is originally in the form of clear or coloured pellets. To make a coloured bag, the clear pellets are mixed with the coloured ones and melted together in a machine. The poly is then extruded and blown into a tube shape of a specific thickness and dimension. Once the correct amount is extruded, the rolls of poly tubing are put into a printing machine that prints the poly as it is run through a series of printing rollers. The printed poly is then put through another machine that cuts, seals and applies the handle to the bags. Finally the bags are bundled and put into cartons for shipping. |
