| The Aboriginal Health Association of BC is an organization that grew in response to a need. In 1991 the Ministry of Health (MOH) invited Aboriginal individuals to participate on an new strategy for aboriginal health. Through a series of consultation meetings the need for Aboriginal people to become more involved in the design and delivery of health care programs became apparent. |
